Maths is a fantastic subject that I believe should be taught with colour, movement and relevance. To do that takes time, creativity and effort because existing material (particularly textbooks) just isn't adequate for today's fastidious maths student. The web is excellent for delivering an interactive lesson and adding value to your teaching.
This site brings together many of the most useful sites and, for the first time, is a repository for 2 years' worth of my teaching resources.
I still actively manage this site so if you have any comments for me, any links you can suggest or any resources that you would like to share here, please get in touch. That goes for students too.
mrreddy.com can help mathematics teachers in 3 ways:
- By linking to relevant webpages for students - so you can direct your learners to one location, either in an IT lesson or for out-of-school learning.
- By providing a central location from which to access a variety of useful teaching tools - like the big blue calculator or the online scientific calculator.
- By sharing whiteboard and paper-based resources of my own.
